How we work

Pathly only works if you can trust it

Here's exactly how we choose cases, label evidence, answer your questions, vet consultants and make money.

How we choose cases

What the evidence labels mean

HighAn independent or academic study.
MediumA vendor case study that names the customer and gives specific numbers.
LowAn unnamed customer, a vendor claim or survey, sponsored content, or a headline-only result.

A Low label doesn't mean a result is false. It means you should weigh it accordingly.

How Ask Pathly answers you

Ask Pathly only points to cases in our library. It doesn't invent results, and if nothing matches well, it tells you so. Answers are educational, not professional advice.

Conversations are saved so we can see which industries and problems come up most and improve the library. We don't ask for your name to use Pathly, and we remove contact details from saved chats.

How we vet consultants

  1. Application and portfolio review.
  2. Reference checks.
  3. A conversation about how they work and handle client data.
  4. Follow-up with owners after every referral. Consultants with poor outcomes are removed.

How Pathly makes money

Pathly is free for business owners. Partner consultants may pay a referral fee when an owner chooses to work with them. Fees never affect which consultants we show or how they're ranked, and Pathly never shares your details without your consent.

A note about our founder

Pathly is run by Jaylen Xiong, founder of KAZU Solutions, one of the consultants listed on Pathly. KAZU is matched by the same criteria as every other consultant and is never shown as the only option when another consultant fits. Its listing is clearly labeled.
